MAX’S is a proud supporter of Australian bodybuilding and we sponsor many IFBB, INBA and NABBA competitions each year. MAX'S also supports a number of champion Australian bodybuilders who­ embody the MAX’S ­spirit of promoting bodybuilding as a great sport that demands a healthy and disciplined approach to life. Although we can't support everyone, we believe in fostering new talent, and assisting athletes who normally receive little help from other avenues.

Recently MAX’S has started sup­porting athletes from other sporting fields. As participation grows worldwide, athletes from almost all sports are coming to understand the benefits of sound nutrition and appropriate supplementation for maximizing their performance. Below are some of sponsored athletes and the associations to which we are affiliated:

Robert Overall

Robert comes to us with eighteen 'hardcore' years of training under his belt, several bodybuilding titles and a 2nd Dan Black Belt obtained from the Japan Karate Association. Read more about Robert here.

Con Demetriou - IFBB Pro

Carlos Azevedo

Luke has achieved an amazing amount in the 7 years, (as of late 2006), he has been training and with several bodybuilding titles already under his belt he is sure to have a promising future in the sport. Scott Martin - Australian discus Gold Medallist

Scott made his mark on the international scene finishing sixth at the 1999 World Youth Championships in Poland. He claimed a personal best shot put throw of 17.28m and discus throw of 51.19m at the Olympic Trials, gaining selection in the Australian team heading to the IAAF World Junior Championships in Santiago, Chile. Nick Selek - INBA Champion

Dom Cannizzaro - INBA Champion

Dom holds many bodybuilding titles including 5th at the Natural Olympia in Phoenix, U.S.A. in 2002, 1st place at the INBA 2004 Mr. Victoria and 3rd place at the INBA Mr Australia 2004. Ange Galati - Australian Champion Powerlifter

Ange is also the holder of Australia's best ever bench press record! His record currently stands at a staggering 227kg, when competing at a body weight of just 79kg - simple amazing! Ange holds 3 world records and has also won Mr. Australia on several occasions, what an awesome athlete. Mark Cheuk - Australian Bodybuilding Champion

As a child, Mark was a serious sufferer of asthma and has been through a near death experience. Mark states that his childhood was fairly boring and he would never have thought that one day he would be able to compete as a bodybuilder. Paul Slowinski

Current K1 Oceana Champion as of 2006. Paul was born in September, 1980 and is an Australian Champion who trains under Alan Wong at Flinders University Muaythai Club in South Australia. For more information on Paul, click here and go here for some more images

Big Mick Wilson - Jiu Jitsu World Champion
